Profile Piece

The writing desk in my home office has received a lot of one-on-one time with me this year. With the support of my friend and mentor I connected with the editors of Omaha Publications and contributed articles to many issues of Omaha Home. They were well-received with the Birds of a Feather Sip Together performing incredibly well on social media. That article in particular was special to me because it was my first pitch and I was able to feature a dear friend and her home where I love to spend time. 

Another milestone reached this year was the publication of my first profile piece, Accessing the Essential for Omaha Magazine. This article was another pitch that was picked up and I had the opportunity to write about a woman and her work I've admired since we served together in the Junior League of Omaha. I am so grateful for the opportunities to meet wonderful people and share great stories this year. Look for more meaningful pieces in 2024.
