Sleeping Bear Dunes

I recall great memories made during a recent summertime trip to northern Michigan with a dear friend, Katy. We went off the beaten path to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. I never would have imagined this view existed, but I am so grateful I’ve lived the view this photo captured. Standing on this dune, looking out at Lake Michigan felt something of another world. In six short weeks Katy and I set out on our next adventure up north.
